~ Poetry by me ~

By Wondrous Powers            By Wondrous Powers MP3

Chorus:
By wondrous powers soothed in our sorrow,

and confidently striving, come what may;

The Gods are walking with us, evening and morrow,

and greeting us on every dawning day.

1.
And though we walk in rough and stormy weather,
and wyrd may bring us burdens hard to bear,
we find new strength and courage as we stand together,
our kin and our Gods are always there.

Chorus:

By wondrous powers soothed in our sorrow,

we´re confidently striving, come what may;

The Gods are walking with us, evening and morrow,

and greeting us on every dawning day.

2.
The journey has been long, and at its ending
we will meet our friends and all who went before,
in comfort and in better understanding
united with our kin for evermore.

Chorus:

By wondrous powers soothed in our sorrow,

we´re confidently striving, come what may;

The Gods are walking with us, evening and morrow,

and greeting us on every dawning day.

3.
And if once more you let us feel the gladness
for Midgard´s beauty and for Sunna´s shine,
then we´ll remember our past times without sadness,
and journey forth beyond the bounds of time.

Chorus:
By wondrous powers soothed in our sorrow,

we´re confidently striving, come what may;

The Gods are walking with us eve and morrow,

and greeting us on every dawning day.
