Wode

Dark night stalking
Sleepless, crippled
Pain and rage gnawing

Steps unthinking
Winter´s night
Bright moon burning

Horn sounds distant
Thoughts still

Baying wolfsong!
Heart now pounding
Mind awaking

Hearth too distant
Sword or Rifle
For foolish wanderer

Baying closer
Heart now burning
Snarl to answer

White horse leading
Dark hounds coursing
Prey seeking

Wound forgotten
Bright rage burning
Scream in answer

Snarling snapping
Clawing striking
Killers dance

Horn sounding!
Pack stills.

Body twisting
Limbs swift flowing
Fear we scented

Laughing howling
Coursing swiftly
Prey before us

Transforming passion
Wild huntsman!

Long night running
Blood sweet triumph
Bright moon praising

Morning waking
Limbs cold shaking
Wound soft throbbing

Beard is bloodied
Heart slow beating
Laughter fills me

Wild hunt rider
Wode master
Soul healer.
