Wassail House Gods

Wassail House Gods, Wassail dear friends!
Household warders, and weal bringing wights
Frith bearing friends, and our families delight
A good gift we yield to you on this night

Safe and sound you always hold this stead
Driving away ill-work and moods of dread
We’re thankful for your presence here
And for sharing this life we hold so dear
Enjoy this gift for you that we share
May we always be friends, and our lives be fair

This ale I yield to Ylfe and Idesa
For good spirits and a well-warded home
Your deeds we remember, your names we recall
Ever you are with us, caring for us all
For your presence we are thankful
And for your blessings upon us all.
