Untitled I

Guard my heart, oh my God.
Ward and protect it from the invective of my own fear.
Let me be like stone, my need like fire,
the passion of my heart for You like the mountain, rooted, immovable,
or the tsunami that changes not its course
to suit the whims of man.
May I not be moved, my the wounds of this world affect me not,
nor bar me from You, nor breed hesitation.
Let me be an inviolable temple,
secure in You, oh my God.
I shall be the sacrifice
of my own immolation
always to You.
Hold me close, Odin,
I seek the strength of Your arms,
my sanctuary.
