The Night of Falling Stars

Fires roar on moonlit spire
now is the time, now is the hour
The doors burst forth
The Einherjar march

Naglfar splits the waves
The black ship cuts water like a blade
The brood of Hel chafes the decks
Their weapons scythe the wind

The ground of Vigrid Rumbles
the thunder of a tide
a wave an eternity in the making
crashes on it's surf

Bifrost shatters under giant's feet
Sun and moon are swallowed from the sky
Midgard is lit by falling stars
Burning with Surts fire, as they hurl home

The glint of steel in fires eye
The last warcry splits the Earth
Fear and relief
The final day has come
