I hail Your power, subtle and secret,

power of tides and blood and night-blooming flowers.
I hail You for the memory of
Your shining light
bathing my uplifted face.
I hail You for those moments when
Your image,
lighting the darkened sky, stole away my breath.
I hail You, shining,
exotic, and glorious.
For Your mystery and Your allure,
I offer this horn.
