Loki’s Song About Odin’s Nights on Yggdrasil      The Ballad of Gilligan´s Isle - Tune
Tune: The Theme Song of Gilligan’s Island

Oh Sit right there and I´ll tell you a tale, of a god who found the runes,
It was a quest that began one day, during a full moon,
During a full moon

He drank a cup from Mimir’s Well.
Gave up an eye and then,
He noticed that his vision blurred, his mind he did bend,
His mind he did bend

He climbed up on the world tree,
And stabbed himself with spear,
And hung himself upon a branch,
That held him right there,
That held him right there

For 9 days and nights he hung,
Upon the world tree,
And found the runes we know so dear,
All 24 with care
All 24 with care

To Midgard came….
The runes did give….
To humans…dwarves….and wights….
To gi-ants…
To Vanaheim and the Elves
All on a Woden’s night!
