Loki, God of Heat

Loki, God of heat,
Of sultry days and sensuous nights,
Who fills the flesh with fire,
Who brings passion of the heart, warmth of the spirit,
Desire of the body, and a thousand other delightful things,
Whose smile is as bright as the flame of a thousand blazing suns,
Loki, Star-brand and Sky-traveler,
Ever fascinated by humanity’s ruckus,
Ever constant in Your care,
Now and always,
This month and every month,
This day and every day:
Be Thou honored.
