Hail Son of Night,
Herald and Aide to the gleaming Sun.
Before Her You ride
On Your red-maned horse Skinfaxi.
Before Her Your presence calls to us
To make ready for the coming of the light.
Your passage holds us, gives us structure,
Wards off the fears and loneliness
So often bound up in darkness.
Bright son of Delling,
Jewel of Your family's hall,
Herald of Day, strong and swift and sure,
Please look upon us with favor today.
