Goat God Blot

I gave Thor my last good beer.
Now my fridge is lookin’ drear.
For there’s nothin’ left to drink,
‘Cept for water from the sink.

It was a goodly sacrifice
To him of thunder and storm strife,
That goat god of fiery beard,
I felt its sharing draw him near.

So I gave Thor my last good beer,
A sacrifice so dear.
And as I poured that lager out,
He whispered, ~ ~ ~ ~
“Next time . . . get me stout.”
