Eagle-Beak

Once there was a Giant who lived in Jotunheim,
She was called Eagle-Beak,
She was the youngest of eighteen daughters,
Her parents were called Oskrud and Kula.

She was the prettiest among all the daughters,
So everyone thought.

Oskrud and Kula fell ill and died,
They were returned to the trolls underground.

The daughters received all that their parents had,
And the brother's of Oskrud,
Gaut and Hildr took the Kingdom.

The other daughters always picked on Eagle-Beak,
She tried to complain and stand up for herself,
But the sisters would always beat her.

Eagle-Beak had taken all that she could take,
She made a vow to Thor, that he could have any goat he wanted,
If he could fix things with her sisters.

Thor made a trip to Jotunheim,
While he was there he slept with the Eldest daughter of Oskrud and Kula,
The other daughters became very jealous, and killed the Eldest daughter.

Thor had slept with the other daughters,
Each one was then killed by the remaining sisters,
And they all uttered a curse,
before they died.
If any of the daughters had a child by Thor,
It would not grow and thrive.

Then Thor slept with Eagle-Beak,
She had a baby girl that she name Skin-Beak,

Eagle-Beak was helped by Thor,
She was given all of her sisters' things,
And Thor has always helpful to Eagle-Beak.
