Blessed Are We!

And All-Father Odin took the form of the sky,
and hovered over Great Mother Jord.
Where the sky met the Earth, in a great holy union,
was born a child with hair as red as fire.
Odin named the child Thor, and raised Him in Asgard
as the prince that he was.
As Thor grew he felt the pull of motherly love,
and began to spend much of His time with His mother Jord.
He came to love the people of Earth,
the descendants of Lif and Lifthrasir, who were born from holy breath.
And these children of Odin grew to love their Mighty God of Thunder,
and great defender of Midgard.
Blessed are we who live cradled in the bosom of Jord,
protected by Thor, and watched over by All-Father Odin.
