Barrow Wight

Cold and damp that is my home,
forever sleep on bed of loam.
A lich of bones not even marrow,
I need naught else within this barrow.

Finery rich clothes in tatters,
I have no care for earthly matters.
Rusting sword and shirt of mail,
my armaments beyond the veil.

Eternal rest now from the din,
forlorn farwell to friends and kin,
Though do not fret for every night,
dance on my mound in ghostly light.
