Of Balder’s dream

Eight legs swiftly
Ride the Hel-road
Challenged is
The father of runes
Rise up now lady
The high one asks
The lore of the dead
I bid you to speak
For the light of Asgard
Hel’s mead awaits
To all-father’s son
She will open her gates
At fun and play
The gods make sport
A whispered voice
And guided hand
Loki’s foul deed done
Weeping and wailing
The gods tears fall
Odin whispers to his son
Chaos breaks free
War is everywhere
After the fire stills
The light returns again
