Driftwood We Are

   a               a             G             a
Adrift on the ocean for ages and more,

       a        a        G                 C
The waves finally washed us ashore;

C                C      G                 G
Senselessly lying around on the beach,

               F                 F                  E              a
We were limbless and lame, without hearing or speech.

Chorus:
C       C               G                 G
Dead wood from Yggdrasil´s branches,
F              F              E        a
Drifting along on a sea of chances,
a           G              C            d
Here today, and tomorrow far,
F            G     a             a

Mmm – Driftwood we are.
