~ Poetry by me ~
With the Aesir Side by Side
With the Aesir Side by Side
MP3
We follow Thor to Giant Lands
and battle many a fight;
the strength in our hearts and hands
is our main and might.
Chorus:
We walk with the Aesir side by side,
the Aesir side by side,
oh won't you come and join with us,
with the Aesir side by side?
Chorus
We follow Odin restlessly,
cross boundaries of fate;
on the way to our destiny
so many roads still wait.
Chorus
When Freya as a falcon flies,
we keep her company,
as we search in Midgard low and high
where our love might be.
Chorus
With Njord together at the helm
the seas of life we'll roam,
and through the rough and stormy realm
we're safely coming home.
Chorus
When Skadhi in the mountain skies
to hunt her prey, we keep
our footing on the slippery ice
and on the rocky steep.
