~ Poetry by me ~
Song of Odin
I am the rider of the tree
I am a draught of poet´s mead
I am a socket´s empty yawn
I am a hunger: who but I will sacrifice his self to Self?
I am a guest you don´t expect
I am a song to wake the dead
I am a tide that drowns your mind
I am a trickster: who but I brings woe to you and weal at once?
I am a spear that roars for blood
I am a wolf ruthless and red
I am a storm that tears apart
I am a wizard: who but I sets the cool head aflame with smoke?
I am a counsel bringing fame
I am a sword that drinks your life
I am a raven on a corpse
I am a gallows: who but I brings you to death while holding you?
I am the blaze in every heart
I am the shout in every throat
I am the shield for every head
I am the tomb of every hope.
