The Gods Before Me
The Gods before me on my way,
they show me how to walk life´s road.
The Gods behind me shield my back
against the things I can´t foresee.
The Gods beside me, left and right,
give strength and counsel on my path.
The Gods above me shelter me,
in wayward weather I walk safe.
The Gods beneath me give me power,
and help me up if I should fall.
The Gods within me comfort me
and always keep me company.
