Prayers to Odin
Hail to you, Odin, you who wear so many masks.
Seeker, I seek you. Hear my prayer.

Prayer to Oski
Oski, I thank you for all you have given me.
Your gifts have been a blessing to me, and a burden I willingly bore.
You have given me more than I asked for, and more than I could have imagined.
Ever since, I am doing for you what is in my power to do,
and I shall spend my life and my death repaying my debt to you.

Prayer to the Wanderer
Wanderer, I am lost. Seeker of the ways,
give me a sign that I may get my bearings again,
and take it from there on my own.
Let Hugin and Munin, who fly over Midgard,
point the way for me to walk out
from the tangle that blocks my sight.

Prayer to Yggdrasil´s Rider
Rider of Yggdrasil, help me to bear my suffering.
As you hung nine nights on the Tree, wounded and thirsting,
let me bear my fate and my hardships, and grow wiser from them.
The Tree that bears us is giving both Death and Life.
Let me grasp this mystery.
Let me be patient, and let me not despair,
for you have gone through this, and more, before me.
You know how it feels.
This is my own ordeal.
Stand with me in my heart and my soul, High One,
through the dark nights,
until I grasp the Runes of Life again, as you did,
and I grow healthy and whole and wise.

Prayer to One-Eye
Odin One-Eye, teach me to sacrifice.
There are many things I can do, or be, or have,
but for everything I choose, there is a price to pay—
if only that one road taken means one not taken,
or that I got what I once had desired.
Again and again, life is full of choices,
and sometimes it seems something within me
has already made the choice for me.
Teach me to tell my soul´s deepest desire
from a passing whim,
and to know what gains are needful for me
instead of just convenient or for show.
Give me the wisdom to know
what things are worth a high price
and the courage to pay it.

Prayer to Bolverk
Trickster, teach me the ways of men.
Disguiser, let me fool the foolish.
I would be sly and crafty, as you are,
confounding my enemies, succoring my friends,
fighting with wit and illusions,
and words as my weapons.
Bölverk, cunning one, fixed on your goal,
patiently waiting, swiftly striking,
attaining your ends
by any means necessary,
I know there is a high price to pay
for walking this way;
that to betray others
is to betray your own heart in a way.
Whether others know it or not,
that way changes who one is,
and at some point there is no returning
to what one has been before.

Prayer to Hangatyr
I am hungry, and there is no food for me.
I am thirsty, and there is no water.
I am helpless, and there´s none to help me.
I am bound, and cannot come free.
I am wounded, and cannot find healing.
I am dying, and life slips past me.
Odin! Rider of the Tree--
Fetter-Breaker, set me free!
Teach me Runes to become whole--
And when death takes me, take my soul.
