~ Poetry by me ~
Prayer of Troth
I believe in the Gods, in the
shining Aesir and Vanir
I believe in Thor, friend of mankind, protector of Midgard
I believe in Freya, sensual beauty and falcon of battle
I believe in Odin, ecstasy bringer, many-masked fury
I believe in Frigga, far-seeing mistress of hall and the hearthfire
I believe in Frey, lord of good harvest, of peacetime and bounty
I believe in Skadhi, strongwilled snowshoe-dis, daughter of giants
I believe in Tyr, armed keeper of honor, of justice and order
All these and the others I trust and believe with my heart and my soul,
In mutual Troth I am true to the Aesir and Vanir.
