You Dance on the Cave Wall
You dance on the cave wall,
Stag-God, Ani-Man,
In flickering darkness
Tallow lights blake.The bison starts breathing
In the red glow
The mastodon´s fleeing
From arrows and bowYou run with the hunters
You run with the deer
Charcoal chases ochre
Forever with spearsWith pictures of magic
Ensnared is the prey
While outside the fires
Keep darkness at bayAnd drums echo deeply
Pounding with might
The will to survive yet
