~ Poetry by me ~

Can be tender again the heart so hardened,
Bitter with pain, that seldom pardoned
The grief received nor its own faults
And, unrelieved, feels raw and galled ?

The wounds cleaned by tears´ gentle rain,
Time´s hands may heal, though scars remain;
Until a smile, like spring´s first flower
Will, trembling, shine, sun after shower.
