Sleipnir
Sleipnir was led by Loki along the riparian path
leading to Yggdrasil and up to Odin.
Corporeal and wet with sweat,
the eight-legged twenty-four hand horse knew
who he was for, and what he was meant to do.
Eight points on a compass and nine worlds to
explore.
Yes, the plural form of the word world all waiting;
knowledge for the taking, set on straight like Odin's spear
used in a nine day ordeal to acquire the runes.
