Prayer to Frið

Hail to Frið,
Goddess of order,
of the body’s delicate grace
and dance of breath and bone,
blood and cells, organs
and systems all
working in harmony,
point and counterpoint.
For the peace of working balance,
and the blessing of restorative
sustenance,
we hail You.
We ask Your gracious blessings,
upon our bodies, waking and sleeping.
Teach us to care for ourselves,
to nourish ourselves wisely,
to make good choices
each and every day of our lives,
so that our bodies
might be sustained
appropriately.
