Hanging

Deafening pounding
Surging might
Swinging and swinging
Pitch-black as night
Swirling colors
Whirling mysteries
Death-hearkening shiver
Embracing the unknown
Swinging and swinging
Soul-might’s sweet song
Deeper and deeper
Below the precipice
Gazing into terror
Grasping, longing
Desiring union
Longing becomes naught
Swinging and swinging
Singing-shrieking
I fall and return…
