Bra är tiden, då vi församla oss;
Varifrån än alltid vägar leda oss.
Vi blir kallade av Landet och himlen
Om för underblåsa elden av nye.
Du kom och tänkate ensam för står,
Har tittade tillbaka full tvivlar.
Men i våra mitten du har funnit dig,
Och främmande ansikten var snart förtroende.

Spiseld, åter upptända
Gammla gudar, är ny vakna!
Spiseld, ljus i natten,
Har ta tillsamans varandra!
Altför länge skona låg gammal vägen
I dimma glömskan.
Men gudar och förfäder visa han ny;
Vi har befriade oss av lögen.
Vi står i kretset tätt till flamman
Ringen är smidat, ära och vacker.
Eldar, de blir aldrig utslocknar
Så länge vi står till varandra!

Därför lyfta upp er hornor full skaldenmjöd
Present på gammal för välsignelse och kraft
Vi återlämnar, vad givit oss
Och tömmar dranken på Asgaards makt!

The Hearth Fire Song
The time is ripe as we gather together
from all directions, both distant and near.
We follow the call of the land and the sky
To rake up the fire which draws us all here.
You come along feeling lost and alone
Looking back with a doubtful eye;
Now you find yourself so close to faces
Which warmly befriend you 'fore night has passed by.
Chorus:
The hearth fire bursts forth again
Ancient gods are called by their names!
Hearth fire, a light for all kin
Tonight we rekindle the flames!
The heathen path has been shrouded too long
In murky mists of oblivion,
But gods and elders have burnt off the fog
Along with the lies which have lingered on.
As we all ring close round the fire
feeling life stir in the ring made of ore,
As flame lit by flame never shall tire
We hold the ground we've been looking for.
