The Death of Mundilfari's Daughter
Winter winds spread venom
White rust in pale night sky
Dying comes doom dealing
Dag's Nag races southward
Skoll kills sun-dogs sleeping
Svalin's shield must yield now
Wain's wheel I bite gaining
War-frenzy more lost hope
Wolves howl bitter wailing
While the young sun dies.
