Sunna, Bright
Shining Sunna, sun gay lady,
Brightly blessing field and farmstead.
Winter's shallow skyward timing
Passes now for another year.
Warmed by thee, thou radiant being.
The time of growing things is here.
Alsvid and Arvak, manes aglow
Convey thee ‘cross the concave sky.
Svalin shield in thy care safe kept.
How thy lost parent's must have wept.
‘Twas your great beauty took thee high.
Human once, now fair deified.
