Ran's Daughters

Nine daughters all Ran brought forth
In Aegir's watery home under the wind's caress
Laughing, dancing, light their garments and foam their hair
Cheerful friends yet capricious, unfettered, unknown their mood
Beauty they have yet, bounty they bring still.
