In Remembrance

Lo, she has come to us again
Taking him, who she has laid claim to.
Young, strong of heart, honest and loyal.
My friend and brother in arms.

His time here is finished
His spirit and courage flow around us.
He is now forever a part of us and we of him
Tonight he feasts in the Hall of Warriors.

We will see him again
When it is my time, he will come to greet me at the gates.
We will have drink and laugh,
Side by side once more.
