Hail Skadi

Ancient Pines cloaked with winter white,
Black green, glittering
Bowing grace under pristine mantle,
Crisp, clean, clear
Freezing past and present
Remnant of primal solitude

Sudden kiss of the winter’s breath,
The wild, winter winds yowl
Pursuing Huntress,
Oh, Elemental Skadi,
Let me run with you,
Let me your white wolves trail
Together celebrate in your shadowy places

Come winter, Come snow
Hail, Skadi!!!!
