Grimnir Reborn

Lord of Spears and Lord of Verses,
We hail You once more in these times;
Your cunning craft makes blessings and curses;
Your potent breath gives us our lives.

Disguised as a gaunt, grey old man
You are a one-eyed wanderer,
Wise before all knowledge began;
I wit You are no squanderer.

Battle's Father, Reaper of Souls,
So fearless were Your chosen few
Who wore beast pelts in days of old.

Now, You've returned to us anew;
Not as a God for plunderers,
But as a God for wonderers.
