Dialogue between Njordr and Skadi

Njord:

You are following me
As a giant shade

The hills were a burden to me
I did not endure in them,
Only nine – days, months, years?

I went sick from the howling of the wolves
After the hearing of the swans.

Skadhi:

I could not sleep on the beach
Because of the rumbling of the tides

He awakes me every morning,
He who comes from the deep.
