Greenest leafed hair, quivering arrows
Silver skin stretching from
honey scented brown loam.
Gate to the underworld,
your secrets holding,
First of the holy trees,
first of the mother trees,
Home to forest kind,
protector of babies,
First of the holy trees,
first of the mother trees,
Holda, I call thee,
husfrau of the underworld.
Berkano, birch mother, forest maiden,
Bring us into being,
your abandoned children.
Holy tree, mother tree,
new birth giving,
As we climb heavenward
seeking your underworld
