Battle Over

Battle over, torn asunder
Foeman retreats
Wounded but yet alive, I still stand
This foe I cannot kill with axe or sword
Dark thoughts and old age can kill any man
Lo, my grave can wait some more -
I will go to it all too soon
As of now, I greet the dawn; I choose to live.
