The Greatest Sacrifice

We are living in the age of the gun;
Death, sex and violence---it’s all so much fun!
The fruits of our labours---look what we’ve won!
A paradox of morals we all shun.
No matter; all shall be said and done
When we die for our wonderful patron.

Our God honours only he who complies
With His priests and political allies.
We hope our blind servitude will suffice.
Glory! We’ve earned our place in paradise
We were used as our leader’s war device.
We gave our lives! --- The Greatest Sacrifice!
