The images on Odin´s Gift come from a variety of sources. Many are paintings from the Romantic era at the beginning of the 20th century, e.g. works from Arthur Rackham, or prints and engravings from the 19th century. Some are drawings or replicas based on archaeological originals, e.g. of Gotlandic picture stones or bronze artifacts. Several artists kindly gave me their permission to use their works. Some images are so widely spread on the net with no credits given they are already being treated like public domain, whether or not that is technically correct. Other images are explicitely described as public domain.
If you have any further information on the origins of these images please E-mail me so I can add the proper description and credits. This site is dedicated to the education, edification, and artistic enrichment of all visitors. This site and all major links from it are non-profit in nature, and are provided as an educational resource only.
