Practice: Write in Old Meter!

Theory´s over. Now, sharpen your pen, and write your own very first lines of Old Meter!

This is a practice and should be fun, so relax and brainstorm. Anything goes. An invocation to your favorite god, a scene from a grim berserk fight, or your new schmuck vacuum cleaner - it´s up to you.

Write two or three stanzas in Old Meter. They don´t have to be clever, or beautiful - just stick to the meter, so that I can see you´ve understood the principle. If the lines happen to be totally unrelated to each other, or nonsensical, that is okay too.
However, deviations from the meter are *not* allowed in this practice smile!

If you can´t find a beginning, what about:

Hail to the high and holy God Thor,
...

Bruno the Berserk was bellowing loudly:
"...

My vacuum cleaner has cost me a lot,
...

Post your stanzas in the Old Meter Practice Forum. We shall appreciate them there together, and if there happens to be a deviation from the meter, we´ll take it as an opportunity to learn.
